This past Friday, the Red Bank Middle School held the finals of their 6th annual
Spelling Bee contest. Congratulations to 6th Grader Sandra Paz who spelled "characteristic" correctly for the win. 7th Grader Sarena Dixon was runner up.

Makeover Video Contest Competition

Bilingual Memorial Service for slain RBMS teacher tonight

Tonight (October 9th) at 7pm at St. Anthony's Church on Chestnut St. (just west of the
Hockey Armory), a Bilingual Service for Ms. Jonelle Melton, a beloved teacher, will be
held.

Kudos to school RB Middle School and Primary School parents and teachers for organizing
this important service to keep her memory alive.

Ms. Melton was tragically killed by an unknown assailant last month after a vibrant and
successful 8 year career at the Red Bank Middle School.

Both the Spanish and English Choirs of St. Anthony's will be performing.

No doubt, John Cross is known throughout this eastern Monmouth County area for having maybe the "most golden" of golden voices and he has been sharing this gift for years. Yet, entering his junior year at the College of New Jersey, John continues to stay focused on his career which surprisingly does not include singing.

Red Bank Middle School Graduation Highlighted by 19 year old Succcess Story

Micheal Collins, a 19 year old college student from Holmdel and a
member of the Holmdel Board of Education, gave a most interesting commencement speech at the terrific "Class of 2009" Red Bank Middle School graduation.
