After serving as a long time assistant coach for the iconic Red Bank Catholic Girls Basketball team and then following it up with a successful two year stint as head coach of the Rumson-Fair Haven Boys Basketball team, Red Bank Regional teacher James Young was hired as the Girls Basketball coach last year.

I was thrilled to learn of the hiring of Shniece Perry as the Unit Director for the new
Red Bank Branch.

The Salvation Army will no doubt be rocking tonight as the 5th Annual UTF Red Kettle Classic tips off at 5:30 pm.

The Mark Twain Comedy "Is He Dead" is currently being performed by the Red Bank Regional
Students.

The 5th Annual Red Kettle Classic Middle School Basketball Tournament will be held at the
Red Bank Salvation Army on Dec. 4th & 5th.

Going into this season, considering myself a die-hard RBR football fan
who attends 90% of the games, I was not very optimistic. After winning
3 games in 3 years, I wasn’t expecting much more simply based that
we didn’t have the horses to compete in this strong Shore Conference.

The New York Jets have announced that Nick Giglio of Red Bank High School in Little Silver, N.J., has been named this week's recipient of the New York Jets High School Coach of the Week Award. For his efforts, Giglio will receive $1,000 to benefit the school’s football program and will be presented with a certificate from the Jets.

The gods just seem against RBR Football. We have won only 4 games in the last four years
(after being a powerhouse for decades) and haven't won a game since 2007.
