Pretty in Pink and Pink Carpet VIP event
The Count Basie Theatre will be screening the classic John Hughes film, "Pretty in Pink" on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 6:00pm. Following the feature, at 9:30pm at the Broadway Diner, a special "Pink Carpet" event is planned for 100 girls (14 or older).
The screening will include breast health education and special presentations. The Basie also promises some interesting contents including, Totally 80's, Most Like Molly, or Positively Pink so be sure to break out your leg warmers and start working on that dress for Prom. The film is part of is part of a longer series the Basie is calling "Take 9" which will feature nine films presented to the public for free.

After the movie, join us for a private party at Pink Bank’s Broadway Diner. Strike a pose or fend off the paparazzi as you arrive on the Pink Carpet. This post-event party is limited to 100 girls. Tickets are $25 and include special Pink Menu items.
