NJ arts and history industries contribute over $2 billion each year to our State's economy through direct and patron related spending. NJ state cultural funding is part of the economic solution, especially during tough budget times.

The Power of Pink (art)

The power of art to bring people together, spread a message and lift spirits will be evident as Paint the Town Pink transforms Red Bank to Pink Bank starting on Saturday, May 2. Riverview Medical Center and numerous community partners want to encourage women 40 and older to have an annual mammogram, to raise money for mammograms for uninsured women and to raise awareness about early detection of breast cancer.

Country Songwriter's Workshop at the Basie

The Count Basie will be hosting a workshop entitled, "Back to the Basics: Country Songwriting Techniques" for aspiring country songwriters on April 23rd and April 30th at 8:30pm. The class which will be taught by award winning singer and composer Mark Miklos will teach the basics of songwriting including themes, rhyming, structure, and creating hooks.

Pain and Forgiveness Art Exhibit
