Students in the teen art class with Carla Valentino will be exposed to many different types of art. course can also aid in the development of a student looking to put together an art portfolio.
Each month on the third Thursday, visitors are invited to come to town and take part in special sales and promotions that businesses will be offering after 5pm. Begining on August 20th, retailers will be staying open until at least 9pm!
Stokaboka Surf and Skate shop will be showing a double feature of surf movies on Saturday, August 29th. The movies are "You Scratched My Anchor," and "Tales from the Black Van."
McKay Imaging Gallery will by holding an exhibit of photography by New York City photographer Marcia Resnick. Photographs will include portraits of Andy Warhol, William S. Burroughs, Johnny Thunders, Iggy Pop and John Belushi.
