Dr. Zhivago at the Count Basie

The Count Basie Theatre will be screening the classic David Lean film, "Dr. Zhivago" on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 PM. The film is part of a longer series the Basie is calling "Take 9" which will feature nine films presented to the public for free.
The film, based on the novel by Boris Pasternak, tells the story of a man torn between two women and takes place during the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the Russian Civil War of 1918-1920.
