Fair Haven Young Ladies in Year 3 of Helping Red Bank Kids with Sports Equipment

I think Melissa Dominach and Bailey Taft were 7th graders when I first met them and learned of their project to collect new or gently used sporting equipment for the less fortunate kids in Red Bank. In the Spring of 2008, they collected and donated to the Red Parks and Recreation Department over 1,800 pieces of sports equipment!! Now 3 years later, they have expanded to help some other less affluent towns and they have totaled over 3,700 pieces of sporting goods - amazing!

2ND Annual Pilgrim Baptist Church Community Work Day Packed with Volunteers

When it comes to organizing community events/community outreach, I'm not sure if anybody
does it better here in Red Bank than the Pilgrim Baptist Church on Shrewsbury Ave. Under
the leadership of Pastor Porter, well over 100 volunteers enthusiastically gathered this
past Saturday to give back to the community.

president Dr. Rev. Henry P. Davis and the executive committee.
