Don't Believe the Rumors, Come And Ask Questions Yourself at RB Charter School Open Information Session
As a parent of kids that have attended RB Primary, RB Middle, RB Charter, St. James
and RBR, I have a pretty good insight into our schools and school choices.
The horrible rumors about the quality of education and safety at the RB Middle school is totally unfounded and it is a wonderful place (go visit yourself - they welcome visitors).
Or the hatred in the words of those that call the Red Bank Primary School Mexico of the North. It is a beautiful school where none of the kids see color and it is an extremely diverse and happy school.
RB Charter has incurred the wrath of many even before it opened 10+ years ago out of fear
and rumor-mongering. For all our public school parents having a "choice" is fantastic.
Charter Schools by state and federal legislation are hear to stay.
Here in Red Bank, the addition of the Charter School to the educational mix has dramatically raised the quality of education at the RB borough schools which is a win-win.
Stop reading all the blog garbage and come ask your own questions and see for yourself
what "charter schools" are all about:
On April 27 at 6:30 p.m., the administration, Board of Trustees and auxiliary groups from Red Bank Charter School will jointly conduct an information sharing session about our school. The presentation is open to our school community and the general public. The goal of the evening is to review the basics about charter schools in New Jersey and to distribute factual, accurate information specific to RBCS. Topics will include funding, demographics, test scores, academic programs and a review of our goals and plans for the future.
