Red Bank Superintendent Goes on the Road
Once a month since she began her stint at RB Public Schools as the Superintendent, Dr. Laura
Morana has hosted an event called "A Conversation with the Superintendent".
This is an effort to invite any parent, guardian, grandparent, citizen etc. to come speak
with her regarding any matter related to the Red Bank Public School system.
She has held these sessions both in the mornings and evenings alike to attract the most attendees to the schools themselves (sometimes she meets folks at the Middle School and
sometimes the Primary School).
More recently, she has tried taking the sessions "on the road" to the McDonald's on
Shrewsbury Ave. in an effort to reach out to another segment of the population.
Unfortunately, both McDonald's "Conversations" the weather has been horrific and hence the
attendance not so go.
Regardless, I really like this creative thinking to try different times, days, venues
to connect with her school community.
