5th Annual UTF Red Kettle Classic Basketball Tournament Starts Tonight

The Salvation Army will no doubt be rocking tonight as the 5th Annual UTF Red Kettle Classic tips off at 5:30 pm.

After introductory remarks and words of encouragement by RBR Athletic Director, Louis "Del"Dal Pra and a rousing version of the Star Spangled Banner at Red Kettle Alumnus and RBR student Phoenicia Butler, the RB Charter School Girls play the RB Middle School Girls (defending champs).

At the conclusion of the game, all players will receive a goodie bag, a certificate of
participation, and a commemorative T-shirt. Also that time, the presentation of the All-Tournament team will be announced (5 winners get a season pass to RBR Buc basketball
and a RBR T-Shirt) and the presentation of the legendary Red Kettle trophy.

The Boys tips of around 7:15pm with the RB Charter School boys looking to defend their title in their game again the RB Middle School boys.

The same post game festivities will occur.

$ 3 adult, $ 1 student - best deal in town and come see a packed and noisy gym.

9am - St. James vs. Holy Cross Girls
10:15 am - Knollwood vs. Shrewsbury Boys
11:30 am - Knollwood vs. Shrewsbury Girls
12:45 pm - St. James vs. Holy Cross Boys

2pm - Girls Finals

3:30 pm - Boys Finals
