Westside Red Bank Student Receives Well Deserved Academic Recognition From NJ State Assembly
For a multitude of reasons and it is unfortunately true, academic achievement, especially
at the college level, is a real challenge for minority students. However, Red Bank's own
Aaron Reevey of Drs. Parkers Blvd. has overcome the hurdles with amazing hard work and this effort was recently and justly recognized by NJ State Assembly.
A 2009 graduate with honors from Monmouth University, he double majored in both Political
Science and Communications while minoring in Sociology. He is now continuing his academic
prowess with a Masters Degree in Public Policy - wow!!
A graduate of both the RB Middle School and RB Regional High School, Aaron always minded his own business, stayed away from the drama and got his job done.
At RBR, he credits 2009 Teacher of the Year Cassandra Dorn to being most inspiratitonal
to him and at Monmouth U., he credits President Gaffney for being his biggest influence.
